In 2024, QOOP was invited to construct the supporting structures for the exhibition ‘Cyprus, 1974. Memory is the only homeland of people’ of the Hellenic Parliament Foundation for Parliamentarism and Democracy in the former Public Tobacco Factory in Athens.

The structures concern two types of objects, the columns for hanging the exhibits and information material of the exhibition and the metal bases/display cases for the horizontal display of special exhibits.

The 20 columns were produced from a 70/30/2mm cross-section with overall dimensions of 80x40x300cm, while the 8 showcases were produced from a 40/40/3mm metal corner with dimensions of 100x100x80cm.

Special attention was paid to the assembly and bonding of the pieces and regulators were provided on the bases of all objects to align them with the floor of the space. Powder coated paint was applied to the objects.

Duration: 1.10.2024 – 18.6.2025
