ABOUT
QOOP METALWORKS operates in the common area of metalworking and architecture.
Its practice concerns all stages of the creative process, analysis, design and fabrication of architectural metal works.
Analysis concentrates on the definition of the parameters that shape a solid brief as also on areas that constitute fields of research.
Design is characterized by the intent to condense information in simple gestures as also the discourse with the narrative of space.
Construction follows a hybrid model of industrial production and craftsmanship as a means of shaping the identity of objects.
Reference point is the interest for the methodology of organization and management of the specialized information that concerns the different stages of the creative process and is supported by a spectrum of collaborations with clients, producers, financial and project managers, engineers and technicians.

GIANNIS VAPELAS
gv@qoop.grYiannis was born in Athens in 1980, studied optical optometry in Italy and since 1995 has been dealing with metal constructions and music. At qoop he has taken over the management of technical projects.

PANTELIS PALAMIDIS
pp@qoop.grPantelis was born in Chicago in 1981, studied marketing and communication in Athens, worked for 10 years as a manager in a chain of retail stores and since 2017 has been dealing with metal constructions. At qoop he has taken over the financial management.

NIKOS SOULIS
ns@qoop.grNikos was born in Athens in 1980, studied architecture at NTUA and from 2007 to 2010 worked as an architect in offices in Athens. From 2010 to the present, he is curator of the DOMa organization in its publications and exhibitions. At qoop, he has undertaken the design and implementation study of constructions.

CHRISTOS SPETSERIS
xs@qoop.grChristos was born in Athens in 1984, studied architecture in Patras and advanced architecture design in Madrid. From 2011 to 2019 he worked as an architect in offices in Madrid and Athens. At qoop he has undertaken the design and implementation study of constructions.
