The architectural practice "Oikonomakis Siampakoulis" was commissioned to redesign a ground-floor residence through a precise and highly tailored architectural intervention, responding to a rigorous design brief that translates the clients' curatorial sensibility into a spatial composition defined by clarity, continuity, and material depth.
Qoop was commissioned to fabricate a series of bespoke architectural elements throughout the residence, while responding to one of the project's central design intentions: establishing a dialogue between the existing raw materials and the precise geometries of the newly introduced surfaces.
The entire collection was fabricated using steel profiles of minimal dimensions, combined with custom-formed sheet steel components and specially designed connection and suspension fittings.
The scope of qoop's work included: (a) a system of enclosed storage cabinets; (b) an open-structure bookcase composed of vertical and horizontal elements; and (c) a suspended shelving system featuring horizontal surfaces arranged in a grid-like configuration.
