Architects Judith Larsen and Franz Rogowski were commissioned to design a series of fixed and movable elements, integrated into the renovation of an apartment in the center of Athens.
The apartment's interior functions as a white canvas, within which the metal constructions form the project's material and chromatic palette, while introducing different qualities of light and shadow through the carefully selected surface finishes.
Qoop was commissioned to fabricate the entire collection using the smallest possible steel profiles and custom connection details, resulting in a system that can be assembled, disassembled, and transported with ease.
The scope of qoop's work included: (a) a system of open and enclosed storage units; and (b) a variety of internal and external steel-framed openings.
