In the 'Salamis' Residence, a project by AREA Architecture Research Athens, qoop constructed the yard gates, the atrium railings, the metal kitchen table and repaired the existing well in the yard.

The two 4-meter-high yard gates were the most demanding constructions of the project. They were made of a 40/40/3mm galvanized frame, while the covering surfaces were made of 1.5mm thick DCP sheet metal. Recessed rollers were installed at the base, while on the upper side the protruding covers were used as a guide for the fixing roller. The surfaces were naturally oxidized and in the desired oxidation phase a rust stabilizer was applied.

The metal table, also designed by AREA, consists of a 40/40/3 angle for the top surface and a high-rise IPE beam for the legs. Its final dimensions were determined by the sum of the number of tiles and the intermediate joints.

The railings were made of Φ33 galvanized pipe and their supports were made of 8mm slats. For the well, sandblasting was applied to the existing section, the defective sections were replaced and after, powder coated paint was applied.
